Botox
Botox, or Vistabel to give it the trade name, is a firm favourite with our patients – and one or two of our staff too!
It is used to reduce wrinkles and lines like the frown lines and the lines around the eye by relaxing the muscles we get so used to flexing with today’s hectic and stressful lifestyle!
Virtually pain free to administer, you’ll be amazed to know you can have Botox in your lunch hour. You can be in and out within 15 minutes, not bad when you consider that the results last around 6 months.
Both Gavin and Sophie are trained, experienced and insured to carry out your treatment. As Dentists we understand the anatomy of the nerves and muscles of the face and mouth and are more than confident injecting in these areas, we do it every day!
Fillers
For lines in the skin below the eyes we use a wonderful product named Hydrafil Softline. Its key role is to define and give fullness to both the lips and the skin around the mouth and nose. It literally fills the skin out, thereby plumping out the lips as much or as little as you like, and dramatically reducing wrinkles. Yes...that sexy pout can be yours in next to no time!
Hydrafil gives great results on the lines around the mouth caused by smoking, deep furrows between the eyebrows and those lines from the edge of the nose down to the corner of the mouth which seem to deepen with each passing season! It is also effective in minimising the appearance of scars from acne and injury. Made from hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the body, it eventually breaks down and is absorbed harmlessly.
Unlike in a Beauty Salon, we can ensure a virtually pain free treatment as we can use our Dental experience to give you a local anaesthetic. The results last up to 9 months.
